Mountain Biking Meadowood

#23 of 300 mountain bike trails in Virginia
#771 in the world

Expected to be complete sometime around Sept-Oct. There are several hiking trails where bikes are not allowed. Look at the map, the MTB trail is the purple loop. Head past the trail head and turn left on the gravel path and it will take you to the singletrack. Trail can be ridden in either direction. Very smooth and rolling. It is like a smaller version of Rosaryville.

Rider questions

Q: Are there bike rentals?
A: no.

Q: Does it close if it's too wet?
A: As far as I can tell, no, they don't close it. One thing to keep in mind, this track doesn't drain well. The trail will stay muddy for days after rainfall. Mix that with all the deep ruts and you can end up over your handlebars quick. I've done it twice now haha.
