Mountain Biking Mosquito Flats

****   Add a review
#71 of 403 mountain bike trails in Georgia
#1,772 in the world

Mosquito Flats begins right out of the parking lot and is the perfect trail for noobs
and kids! It's flat and nontechnical, but it is still entertaining due to many twists
and turns, tacky dirt, and a few low, wide bridges.

Had to ride on this trail to get to Van Michael trail. There are a lot of small bridges and things for beginners to ride on. Make sure you are riding slow because there are kids everywhere on this section of the trail.

As the name implies, it's flat. The trail is entertaining enough and is great for kids or riders just starting out.

True beginner trail. I'm just starting out, but I'd get the same experience riding around my neighborhood. This is a great track for kids learning the ropes, but not for beginner adults. I'm nowhere near being the most athletic out there, but this trail was far too easy. I'm still rating it a 5 because its true to its beginner description.

This trail is much like Mosquito Bite. It is flat with a few small bridges. Once again a trail for beginners and kids.

Great for new riders who are "finding their bike legs." Also a good warm-up/cool-down. Look out for other bikers and hikers. This trail is bi-directional so they could be traveling either way.
