Mountain Biking Sweetwater Preserve
#97 of 289 mountain bike trails in Florida
A nice trail that is close to the center of Gainesville. Trail features a little climbing and descending, some tight turns and a couple of log crossings. Typical Florida terrain here…sandy in some sections but not to the point that it’s a pain. This is in an area locals call homeless hills due to some homeless camps in the area. A place worth checking out in Gainesville.

From I-75 exit 382 head north on 121 (Williston Rd) towards Gainesville. Continue north for about 4 miles and turn right onto SE 16th ave. The trail head is at the end of the street.
