Mountain Biking Northumberland Forest Red
#90 of 308 mountain bike trails in Ontario
Smooth fast singletrack. Follow the signs. There is a climb at the start then flowy trail down. This is the shortest and most fun loop in the Northumberland Forest.

Thank |Fun trail just went for a ride on the red and barely any snow, wet dirt thou.
Thank |Did the red and green trail as part of a mountain bike marathon race. There was definitely some sweet sections of trail in here, the only downside is it can be a bit sandy in places, it probably rides best the day after a rain. Also, I don't think it is ridden much so there were allot of small sticks on the trail that I was constantly worried about getting in my derailleur. Lots of poison ivy too so bring something to wash off your legs right after a ride. I added an image of the race lap to the photos ... my favorite parts were the trails to the East of Beagle Club road.
Thank |This trail is short and sweet. After a bit of climbing you are rewarded with a fast flowy trip back down. The trail is smooth hardpack and well marked.
