Mountain Biking Quiet Waters Park
#45 of 99 mountain bike trails in Maryland
Update: "Please be advised that under current Anne Arundel County Law, biking (motorize or not) off of a paved surface in a County Park is prohibited."
It's two parts; the first one is like a loop for 2 miles just follow the trial marks and it will take you back to the paved track, then within 20 ft the second part on your right side, it will be another 2m and it will end up with another paved track.
It has side trials which might be nice to explore. you might be interested to stop and enjoy the river view through some parts of the trial.
I consider it as simple trail with some difficult parts. It's well maintained. you can park your car cross the street in the shopping area.

Address; 600 quiet waters park road, annapolis, maryland
50ft after you pass the entrance you will find a crosswalk with paved road in the right and left side, take Right and within 0.25m you find the trial head in your Right side.
Fairly technical riding in a wooded park. The trail is an out and back with a paved trail that runs through at points so you can cut back if needed. You will hit lots of short steeps going up and downhill with heavy root action to make it technical and difficult. Lots of logs to climb over in areas and some skinny riding over stream beds that are mudded out. If Bacon Ridge is comfortable for you, this will take you out of that zone. Fun time and hard workout.

RIDE AT UR OWN RISK!
First off I do not agree with intermediate rating, I have road down hill in Vermont and this is just as difficult if not more. Once u navigate the traffic crossing the road. The adventure begins , (see images). There is a 10 ft high wall ride and a 7 ft high split jump and many other features. I would recommend not riding this on a hard tail, ur FRAME WILL BREAK !!! U will start the trail at very high elevation , do not pay any attention to the other reviews
They are incorrect. Once u ride the steep technical downhill/terrain park u will end up at the bottom where a shuttle will bring u back to ur car for $6 . Intense ride ! Super nice
Just a joke this trail sucks the hardest part was getting over the curb in the parking lot ! What the hell is this I rate this trail a white circle . If u can ride the sidewalk u can ride this trail
Thank |6 Mile out and back trail with a few branches leading into surrounding neighborhoods. I would rate it a blue square, not green. most definitely not a beginner trail with the amount of roots and steep climbs to be had. I've been riding this trail after work, a few times a week, for years now. If you know where to go you will only be on the paved path for a minute in the beginning. The trail runs mostly along the water with lots of technical root sections, climbs, decents, mud, and logs across the trail. Only a few hike-a-bike logs. Does not loop so you need to ride it in and out. Has a different feel riding it backwards. At a moderate pace, you can ride the trail out and back in just over an hour. Great for after work. Strava mapped this ride at 6 miles out and back
Thank |Paved trail in a paid park. Park outside the park in the strip mall to save money. Paved trail goes through woods and around the park. Nothing special, not really mountain biking. Take the family and the tagalong bike for your kids.
