This loop is predominantly single track with some paved trail and hard pack road thrown in to the mix. You're starting at the beginning of the 18-hole Disc Golf course so watch out for flying objects and be courteous to the folks playing.
I rode this loop clockwise. I would suggest reversing it.

This is a purpose built flow and skills track. It's a good place to practice jumps, rollers, climbs and downhill without a lot of technical stuff. It's not a hard place to ride and can be an enjoyable ride before or after riding the PVP Trails.
Thank |Easy beginner loop around rockburn Park. Mostly packed single track and no obstacles. Winding turns and gradual, low grades make it a fun and light course. Only downside is it is quite often very populated.
Thank |Rockburn Branch Park (http://www.singletracks.com/bike-trails/rockburn-branch-park.html) is comprised of both the Rockburn Skills Park (http://www.singletracks.com/bike-trails/rockburn-skills-park.html) and Rockburn Branch Loop. The Rockburn Branch Loop actually connects the Rockburn Skills Park and Patapsco Valley State Park (once you cross Landin Rd to the Morning View Trail that is). The skills park is small but awesome. It is comprised of a pump track, an easy flow track with switchbacks, pump hills, and small jumps, a jump track with larger tabletop jumps, and a diamond back rock garden track. If the skills park gets to packed it almost wouldn't be worth the wait despite its fun-ness. The Rockburn Branch Loop isn't really much other than a connector trail to Patapsco ... nothing to really report there. The skills park is well worth your visit! Once you're done go ride some Patapsco single track!
