From the Golden Gates Bridge follow 101 North to San Anselmo / Sir Francis Drake
exit. Bear left and take Sir Francis Drake west following it to Bolinas-Fairfax road.
Turn left on Bolinas-Fairfax and follow this road until trail head some 3 miles
further. The trail is on the right, parking on the left.
My favorite trail in Marin. This loop is used for the annual Appetite Seminar on Thanksgiving Day.
Although it is almost entirely fireroad, it is worth the ride. Beautiful scenery, few riders, challenging elevation loss and gain. There are definitely some technical sections with loose rock that make most get off and push, and there are also some very steep downhill sections which will get your adrenaline rushing. To add to the fun, take Repack up at the beginning and then down at the end to really earn your post-ride lunch.* Review edited 2/3/2011
