Mountain Biking Rolling Prarie Bike Trail
#81 of 96 mountain bike trails in Iowa
This was once a railroad, but don't let that fool you. The trail to the East is paved aspalt, but the trail to the West hasn't been finished or very well maintained since the removal of the tracks. Althought it is mostly flat, it is 'off road' and a good workout with patches of loose gravel, bumps, and tall weeds. Sometimes there's only an animal path to navigate and a decrepid bridge or two along the way. The scenery isn't to bad either as you pass thru several miles of wooded areas in between the expanses of fields.
