There are three fire roads, Powellton Rd to you left, A- Line in the center and an un named to your right , as you pull in from road.

Just stay straight on the fire road at all wyes and you can be in Butte Meadows for lunch in 1 to 2 hours. This is an old railroad grade so it is never more than 3% grade total elevation gain 3496

Getting there
3.8 miles above Stirling City on Skyway, 1 hour out of Chico is a large turn out. The top of Powellton Rd, there was a green sign.



You will pass lower end of Powellton Rd and could ride from there too add an extra 10 miles top and botom
