Mountain Biking Two BrandsTrail

***   Add a review
#283 of 1,392 mountain bike trails in Colorado

"The Two-Brands Trail provides a five mile loop experience when visitors access the hard surface connector managed by South Suburban Park and Recreation District." Very gentle ascent followed by gentle descent in either direction. A true singletrack for a low impact ride or the newer rider. No trees though so head to Flying J for an easy ride through the woods if you want/need trees.

Fun ride, a little confusing in the sub-division portion but overall and nice fun easy ride single track mostly , goes through a lower lying field that will very wet and muddy after a rain , I really enjoyed the loop 30-45 minutes! Great for an after work ride or a ride with the family

Fun beginner trail to ease you back onto the saddle. I took my wife on this trail after she had a bad biking accident. She hasn't been on a bike in two years. I believe this trail gave her confidence to get back on the bike again. We went counter clockwise and it was a fun route.

This was my first single track ride. I thought it had a nice variety of terrain that presented a sufficient challenge to my meager skills.

This is a featureless trail which requires passing through suburbia to complete a loop. If it was the only thing around, it might be a nice ride, but there are far better options within a 10 minute drive. It makes a nice runner's loop.

This is a nice and easy trail with short rolling uphill sections. Nothing too technical, as most reviewers say, but there are sections now with smaller loose rocks and sand which can be challenging for beginners. We did this trail when a storm was about to roll in and there was lightning--- a little scary considering this trail is very open with no trees in sight. We had to go back to the suburban section to wait out the storm before continuing on the ride. The trail goes through a suburban path which was a little confusing to navigate through, no signs until you reach the section that takes you back to the Two Brands Trail. If you are looking for a challenge, look elsewhere, but if you want a nice relaxing ride or perhaps a trail to cool down in then this could be the trail for you.

Rode today w/ my wife, a single-track beginner, and this was a great choice for her. The trail surface was excellent (not rocky, nor loose, nor sandy) and the few climbs on this loop were very gentle and short.
My only complaint is that the bike-path segment through the neighborhood was poorly signed (or not signed at all?) and we wasted some time flailing around and finally had to ask some dog-walkers how to get back on the Two Brands trail. This suburban segment also broke the general flow of the ride. I would recommend: ride counter-clockwise from the TH, and when you get to the neighborhood, turn around and ride clock-wise back to the TH...

Easy, open (not a single tree), and pleasant ride. Nothing technical and no real climbing to speak of. A good place close to town for the beginner rider or a semi-interesting additional ride after hitting Deer Creek or Green Mountain. Nothing too exciting compared to what the rest of the state has to offer.
