A network of all dirt, single tracks that circle the lake. Lots of turns and elevation changes on well groomed, multi purpose trails. Be alert for hikers and snowmobiles, please note MT bikes are allowed on certain trails only.
For a short trail in Iowa, I thought this place was fantastic. It has a little bit of everything: up and down hills, sand, rocks, bridges, mowed grass trail, and spectacular scenery!
This is my favorite place to ride. The terrain is much like the mountains, which is rare in Iowa. Up and down, left and right for most of the 8 miles around the lake. Not very difficult and fun to ride.
