Mountain Biking Lichen Rock

**   Add a review
#286 of 402 mountain bike trails in Georgia
#8,856 in the world

Located between Indian Shoals and the Ridge Run loop, all three of these loops have similar singletrack: sharp dips and turns, but no real elevation change, and no real scenery.

Like the other trails it connects to, this one is pretty unremarkable and not very challenging at all.

Another of the beginner level trails in the Harbins system, Lichen Rock is a short mile long trail that is the last loop you will come across before hitting the intermediate and advanced loops. Pretty boring IMO, but not simply because of the difficulty. Bland terrain and a boring route through the woods take a lot of the possible fun out of this one. Do yourself a favor and hit up the intermediate trail instead as it really isn't much harder from a technical level.
