A close-up view of a mountain bike wheel resting on the edge of a concrete ledge above a small waterfall. The water cascades down into a narrow channel, surrounded by rocks and greenery. A rusty metal pipe runs along the top of the image, adding a contrast to the natural scene. Sunlight reflects off the water, creating a vibrant atmosphere. White Tail mountain bike trail.

Mountain Biking White Tail

*****   Add a review
#39 of 403 mountain bike trails in Georgia
#1,114 in the world

This is the main "outer loop" at chicopee. The singletrack is generally wider and easier than the trails on the inside of the loop. There are still several challenging but fun sections such as champagne hill, and the boardwalks in the lowlands. As with most of the trails at Chicopee, expect there to be a ton of roots! Also, be prepared for a deep stream crossing year round near the old dam, and a short gravel road grind back to the Tortoise trail to return to the trailhead.
