I-85N to I-985, Exit 16-Oakwood/Dawsonville. Take a left/west off the exit ramp. Immediately turn right/north at the stoplight onto Frontage Road. Follow the little brown signs to Elachee Nature Center. There is a bike parking lot past the golf course.
Easy trail that serves as a connector.
Thank |its fun to ride on sundays or other days when tortoise is going CW. Not very challenging but a nice alternative to tortoise
Thank |Quick and fun connector to get you back to the intermediate trails of chi opera littl quicker than takng Tortoise trail.
Thank |Adds a little to the tortoise. It's good to change it up. Not much different or more difficult than tortoise.
Thank |This is a pretty easy section of trail that is, however, a useful connector.
Thank |I guess you could call this a "trail" as it does have it's own name but to me it's more like a "section". It is used as the entry point to the White tail loop on alternating days and is only about a half mile long. A few techinical features here and there but really nothing more than a short connector and warm-up for the rest of the system out here.
