Mountain Biking The Poop Loop
#316 of 403 mountain bike trails in Georgia
Singletrack. Length is about 10 miles if ridden as an out-and-back. 5 miles one way. This is the newest section of singletrack in Athens. One end of it comes out near on Riverbend/College Station, and the other end begins behind the Waffle House on Lexington, down the short dead end road and off the end of it. This circles one of the waste treatment facilities, thus "The Poop Loop."

See below for the ends of the trail. Both ends are near exits off of the Loop, so just hop on the loop and either hop off at College Station or Lexington. Or connect from the Riverbend trail.
The trail was overgrown and not navigable. Needs some serious maintenance to remove the branches, vines, and undergrowth.
