Mountain Biking Cole Creek Trail

From the trailhead there is a 1 mile connector trail to the west loop or you can start the east loop from the trail head. The trail is marked with diamonds. Both loops are a mix of fire road and singletrack. Recommend taking the west loop first. DO NOT recommend riding during hunting season!!

From I44, take exit 145 south to Hwy 133. Take a left to follow 133 and approximately 200 yards and take a right on Springs RD. Follow Springs RD until you reach the intersection with HWY K. Take a left onto HWY K and follow K to Hwy AC/Flagstone RD intersection. At that intersection take a left onto Flagstone RD for about 1 mile to Village Dr. Take left onto Village Dr for about .25 miles and you'll see trailhead on the right.
Just wanted to update this location. I am a complete beginer and I could not ride this trail. Large loose rocks, down trees and steep grades were what held me back again I am in experienced but the down trees were quite abundant. This is at mark twain natonal forest , at the trail head it clearly states that the main intended use of the trails is horse back riding. There is also a log book that you sign , I did not see any bikes signed in on the sheet so maybe no bikers use it.
| ThankThis trail doesn't seem to be used very much. It is quite overgrown and the tread is still covered in fallen leaves from last year. It is open to equestrian use and suffers from problems so common in equestrian trails; poor layout in spots, erosion, no maintenance. But this trail is surprisingly rideable. Despite its overgrown state I enjoyed cruising the West loop and connector trail. With some work to moderate the fall line ascents and descents Cole Creek could draw more mountain bike use. Surely there is an interested group in nearby Lebanon that could adopt this trail and make it a local gem.
| ThankThe trail is not maintained at all. It is extremely over grown with brush. Once on the trail, it is very difficult to find where it continues. It is not very well marked, although there are some gray diamonds and blue ribbons on the trees. Big rocks are on the trail which makes navigating the bike very difficult. We had to walk our bikes most of the time. There was a small section that was really nice. If some people would go out and clean it up, it would be a great trail to ride. So mountain bikers around Lebanon and Springfield, get out there and make it happen!
| ThankNot a bad trail.Has a few nice log jumps,good climbs and descents.Worst thing about it,(besides a crap ton of ticks)no one seems to ride it. Could use a lil trail Maintenance. I'm totally up for it if anyone wants to help.
| ThankMixture of Singletrack and Fire road. Rocky and wet in some parts. Trail is covered with leaves due to season which makes it hard to follow but there are also some diamonds on the trees to help you along. DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT ride this trail during hunting season. A buddy and I did and we decided to call it quits before we had an incident.
