This trail is by no means for the weak of heart. This climb challenges all; at some places you may feel walking your bike up may be better off. The first 800-foot climb of single track you want to stay to main track leading to your left. As you top out you will see and Red, White and Blue water tank about ¾ of a mile off. The single track turns into a fire road at this time, well ridden and taken care of. Once you pull your body and bike to the top of the tank you will want to look North West where you will see a large set of radio towers and tanks about 1 mile out. Head down a small hill and shoot over through some fun flat single track, jump onto a paved road and ride in style for about ¼ mile. If you can make it up the last hill to the towers my GPS said it top out at 1129 feet. You will find yourself overlooking the City of Industry and the 60 Freeway. This is an old Nike Missile Defense sight for Los Angeles. Your ride on the way down will be awesome. Watch for hikers, mean snakes and loose trail dirt. The sides of the trail give way on the down hills, lots of high burms built into the trail system already, but fear, if you loose it there is no stopping, 45 to 80% grades will flush you to the bottom of rocky and tree burden canyons with rattle snakes. Great view.
