Mountain Biking Groton Town Forest
#69 of 223 mountain bike trails in Massachusetts
Lots of single track loops off of a main doubletrack route. The terrain gets more challenging the farther from the parking area you travel. We rode for 2 1/2 hours and had to stop to find our way back out. It is easy to get sucked in and keep rallying and easy to forget how many lefts and rights you've made. Print out a copy of the map from the NEMBA website and all will be fine...(throw some money at them too...they kick @$$)

I recent found this set of tracks and them better than more in the area. While you might fear getting lost most trail loop back to major dirt road and then to parking area.
Thank |Nice place for a short ride. There were no logs to ride or drops that I found just single and double track. If I lived local would probably ride often, but not a destination ride spot. Trails were empty only saw one runner no other cars in lot or people on trails. This is another NEMBA trail system so knew it would be in good shape. Would ride again if in area.
Thank |This is one of my favorite places in the area. The trails are well maintained and in contrast to most other trails in New England there are very few rocks on the trail. There are enough trails for 1 or even 2 hours of riding. It's also easy to bring a dog.
