Mountain Biking Little Bennett Regional Park
#50 of 99 mountain bike trails in Maryland
Little Bennett Park has over 20 miles of natural surface trails - however,
about half of them are off limits to mountain bikers. This park has a lot of
tough hills to climb and quick downhills. There are 10+ separate trails for
MTN biking within the park, so it is easy to change the length of your ride if
needed.
Where some trails say you should wait 24 hours after rain to ride, however,
due to the heavy foliage on this trail you will need to wait 48-72 hours to
ride this trail. In addition, keep in mind that this trail is shared with horses,
so watch the trail for some little treats they leave behind.

From I-270, take Exit 18 to Clarksburg, MD. Travel West (NW) on
Stringtown Road for about two blocks until you hit Frederick Road. Take a
left (go north) on Frederick for one block until you see Clarksburg Road on
your right. Turn right (W, NW) on Clarksburg Road and continue into Little
Bennett Regional Park. You will pass two parking lots before you cross a
bridge and see the main biking parking lot on the left side of the road. The
parking lot only hold about 8-10 vehicles, but it DOES NOT allow trailers for
horses
