Mountain Biking Monument Ridge

  Add a review
#161 of 255 mountain bike trails in Wyoming
#17,653 in the world

From Clark Draw trailhead ride up the 2 track 1/2 mile and take a right. 2 track continues climbing gradually, then steeper as you enter the timber. After some switchbacks you reach a saddle and an intersection (Cliff Creek Road). Stay on the ridge and continue climbing to the old fire Lookout building. Great views here!! From the Lookout continue along the ridge to the north, descending a bit then climbing again to the next highpoint along the ridge and an old Road closure berm. The single track begins here and continues along the ridge to yet another high point before descending to the east. The trail can be heavily vegetated at times but is fast and sweet, getting steep once you encounter sage brush and finally the highway back to complete the loop.
