Mountain Biking Victoria Bryant State Park
#218 of 403 mountain bike trails in Georgia
There is a network of about 15 miles of trails here... but it is almost all wide doubletrack. The doubletrack has some sharp ups and downs, and is decent for a spin through the woods if you find yourselves living close by. The only decent singletrack (which is routed over some of THE most amazing natural obstacles) is posted as a "nature trail" and is illegal to mountain bike on. There are trail maps and signs posted.

Hard to follow perimeter trail but nbd. Short but steep and punchy. Washed out and knarly but fun
Thank |It's been 4 years since the last review, so I thought an update was in order. The trails are still very washed out, and there's a large tree down on the Perimeter Trail. There were more climbs than I expected, which were made more difficult by the washed-out conditions.
Thank |Best trail here, but still only warrants 3 stars. The steep little hills are pretty good for an interval workout.
Thank |Nothing to write home about.
Thank |OK views of the river. Not very entertaining to ride.
Thank |There are two main trails. The Perimeter Loop that is about 2.5 miles and the Broad Creek Loop which includes the Beaver Dam Loop. None are difficult, but the Beaver Dam Loop includes an overlook to take in the view of the remnants of the old lake/beaver dam. A good ride if you are in the area.
Thank |Extremely washed out trail. Tons of loose rock. Constant sharp ups and downs along with the loose rock cause for lots of frustration and bike walking. Its easy to ride technically but physically exhausting due to attempting to maintain traction up the rocky washed out and extremely steep uphill climbs. No good scenery either.
Thank |rode it sunday. very washed out. also I was told by a park ranger you can only ride the perimeter loop. you cant ride any other loop
Thank |True that some parts of the trail is a little washed out but I thought the ride was still worth it. Did both the Broad River Loop, which is the part that is somewhat washed out but still fun and with wildlife, and the Perimeter Loop which had some wildlife in it too. However it is not a beginner trail so to say but borderline intermediate. Looking forward to going back again.
Thank |ok... so the previous reviews lead you to believe that this is a great beginner trail... not true in 2012... Trail is not maintained & is washed out. I didnt see any evidence that a bike had been on this trail this year... steep climbs on loose rock & dirt clods nearly impossible... only slightly better were the steep decents that required heavy braking because of the deep ruts and loose rock/soil. No 'line' to follow. Absolutely terrible. I was very dissappointed. Got stamped for the 'Muddy Spokes' club... will have no reason to return. My rating of Easy does not apply... this is not a mountain bike trail.... The trail pictures are misleading.... * Review edited 6/17/2012
Thank |Great beginner ride. Got a little careless at one point while dodging a turtle while negotiating a curve and bit the dust. Looking forward to doing it again to see if I can improve on my time.
Thank |This is a fun trail for begginers with not a lot of technical sections. There are some great elevation changes with about 850+ feet of climbing over the 4 mile section of the outter loop. Awesome downhill sections that you can pick up a lot of speed on. Always a friendly park staff which is a huge plus!
Thank |So when i added this trail, i had ridden it over the winter when it was still covered in leaves, and just today I rode it and almost all of the leaves were gone and it rode A LOT better! It is still wide doubletrack, but with a lot of consistent elevation changes and very few flat spots, it actually makes for a decent spin through the woods.
Thank |ok so 1 star was pretty harsh... its not nearly that bad
