The trails are pretty flat with only some minor elevation changes. However, the trails are still fun, especially at high speeds. There are a few good jumps on the trail and some tighter, more technical sections as well. Trails are very well maintained, but often in the spring parts of the trail can be flooded. There is hardly ever any traffic on the singletrack; not too many people mt bike around Cedar Falls. The trails are a bunch of short, interconnected trails that can be strung together in many different combinations. Once you get to know the trails, they can be ridden with a minimal amount of riding on the paved trails.
Keep an eye out for deer, especially around dusk; you're bound to see some wildlife!

Coming from Cedar Falls, take 218E then take the Broadway St/Airport Blvd exit. Take a right at the stoplight and then take the next right into the park. Follow the road through the park to the right and then park at any one of the parking lots, get on the paved trails, then keep an eye out for any singletrack throughout the park. They criss-cross the paved trails all over the park.
