A wooden arch bridge with a curved structure, supported by wooden beams, set against a backdrop of green trees and grass. The bridge appears to be part of a biking or hiking trail. Highland Mountain Bike Park mountain bike trail.

This was the second DH bike park I had ever ridden, the other being Snowshoe Mt in West Virginia. Snowshoe is a larger mountain topping out at around 4800ft and Highland around 1500ft. Even though Highland is smaller and the runs shorter, I feel comfortable saying Highland won on the fun factor. The runs were the perfect length. Many of the long runs at Snowshoe have your forearms screaming half way thru. I was a huge fan of Highlands natural rock and root features. This place is well constructed. The grill at the bottom of the hill is also on point. The prices are reasonable and I can't speak to the whole menu but the burrito I had was awesome. I give this place two huge thumbs up.

Copy and paste the link below for an awesome highlight video from Highland Mountain Bike Park. Highland is a meca when it comes to DH/Enduro trails in New England. Start with green and work your way up! 'Faux Pine' is one of my personal favorites. I also post new videos from different spots around New England every Monday, so be sure to subscribe for more! I usually try to get up here once or twice a year. This is a great place to try downhill with enough trails from green to black. If it's your first time stick to the green to get your bearings then move up to cat scratch and cats paw. Moving on to the black can be done toward the end of the day, helion and happy hour are great to test your skills. Lift tickets are $40 for the day. Rental bikes at $80-$120 a day. There are also half day rates. The lodge has a full bike shop/ bar and cafe. With it being semi close to Boston it can get somewhat crowded in the summer on the weekends but even on July 2nd I didn't wait more than 10 minutes for a chair.

don't hesitate to go here, its definitely worth it. check out the central park to nail down some of your basic skills. its definitely worth renting a bike if you don't have at the very least a bike with full suspension. i recommend doing the find your ride

Well where to start.. I can't give it 5 stars since this was my first DH lift park.. I might be back once I get more experience at other parks..

I'm a fairly new MTB rider and this was my first experience with this type of riding..

I'm a fairly aggressive rider and come from an dirt bike riding back ground so love jumps, drops and flat tops.. These were lots of fun.. Certainly aspects of the runs were difficult and the speeds were very fast.. I actually felt badly having to use my brakes to often to carry any real speed.. I did log some decent times via strava but can do better.. I would ride there in a heart beat and can't wait to go back..

Learned a real lot riding there.. going back this coming week.. Yayy...

Awesome park. First complete true DH experience, redicuosly awesome. Awesome guys in the shop that are willing to help you with anything.
I broke my seat halfway thru the day of an all day pass. Went into the shop and was handed another seat under the condition that I bring it back. I was back riding in less than 3 minutes.
All the trails were awesome. Nice and groomed, smooth berms and great table tops. Hellion, Happy Hour, Cat Scratch were my top rides.

Downhill mountain bike park, dedicated to mtb. No ski ops in winter. This was my first time doing DH and I'm hooked. Trails were great and had a good range, almost all jumps were tabletops so no worries about making it to the landing. SMOOTH and built up berms. Woohoo!

Rider questions

Q: Can you ride a hardtail here?
A: Depends... want a new one? Short answer is No not unless your planning to stick the green trail. I know plenty of people who are limitled with cross country full suspension bikes. You can use the hardtail on jumps if you land rite and some drops. You will want 150 millimeters of travel to pull of some of the drops on the blues. B
