This is a scenic trail that takes you through a typical Florida forest like the ones we enjoyed playing in as kids before they were all leveled and replaced with houses, malls, etc. As such it consists of your typical Florida white sand and is no picnic to pedal through unless you have a pair of good strong pistons for legs. For starteres I recommend taking the Cat Face Trail up to the Mullet Camp, a three mile ride through the forest. There are three different loops you can ride back on. Or if you choose you can try to finish the entire loop, but it was too wet when I was there in late October. On my ride I saw a large number of wild turkeys (I think that's what they were) and a wild hog on the trail, so this definitely a nature trail. Next time I go I am bringing a video camera.

Trail is marked very well. From mile 1 thru about mile 6, it's OK. A mix of double track( and I use that term lightly) and dirt road. After that point, the people get more sparse, and the trail conditions explain why. It deteriorates quickly and doesn't get any better until you reach your starting point. It could be a nice cruise with some love. No elevation gain, but I got beat up pretty good. The grass toward the end was prob 5-6" high, and pedaling thru was a pain in the ass. Literally.
