Mountain Biking Red Fox Loop

*****   Add a review
#32 of 319 mountain bike trails in Idaho
#3,162 in the world

If a regular Foothills loop is just too much climbing for you, or you're with a newer rider that isn't down for a 4 mile climb, this may be the loop for you. It has all the same variaty of Hulls Gulch or Shane's Loop but shorter and less extreme. You still have the climbs and the down hills but they aren't as steep and it's half of what Shane's loop is. There is one steep climb and one steep downhill but both are manageable for any single track rider. Takes about 30 min. at a casual pace. If you have A Ridges to Rivers Map of the Foothills it goes: 36 to 36a to 36 to 29 to 39 to 39a

Great trail! Flew in from the East Coast for business and rented a bike from Idaho Mountain Touring. Awesome group of people and outstanding store located on 13th and Main, a few blocks from the trail. They hooked me up quick and I was off on the trail system from Camels Back park. Good climbs, nothing too technical and a sweet reward with a view and a downhill. Highly recommend this trail and the folks at IMT.
