Mountain Biking Lagoon Valley

****   Add a review
#237 of 1,004 mountain bike trails in California
#3,141 in the world

Flat wide trail around lake for warm up then head east up fireroad. Solid climb to antenna towers. Now the fun, lots of windy switchback single track all the way down to lake level. Alternate path, go up double track on north end of lake, to the north of look out parking lot, difficult climb to another antenna tower. At top take trail off back side (away from lake) and singletrack back to parking lot off of Alamo. If you run into a bridge followed by locked gate, don't worry retrace path southward and take first interesection to the right. Follow trail back to parking lot. Can't get lost on this ride. Good 1-2 hour after work fun ride. Lots of thorning weeds in summer but good year round.
