Exit the Fraser Valley Center and turn left, after you tavel under the bridge take a right. When
this road arrives at a T-intersection cross the road and look for a singletrack trail called Givello.
At about 4.5 miles the trail splits go right then right again onto Northwest Passage. On this
section there are a lot of random roads so just stay on what looks like the trail and you will soon
dump out onto a road (CR 50). Turn left and follow this road for about 3.5 miles when there is a
trail to left (Tipperary Creek) and start the climb. Pass the backscratch trail and cross the creek.
The climb will soon become easier and then after about a mile you will start descending. At the
end of the Spurce Creek Trail bear right and then immediatly left. Cross over the creek and then
turn left on the flume trail. At the end of the Flume Trail turn right onto the Chainsaw trail. Pass
the Zoom Trail and then left onto Elk Creek Road. Follow this road back to the Fraer Valley
Center and your car.
Great scenery and a fun ride. The climbs are definitely rewarding with fast, fun downhills. This trail can be connected with many other trails in the area to make your ride as short or as long as you would like. I started from the base of Winter Park and made a 36 mile loop to Fraser and back.
| ThankI'm a beginner rider and found this trail gave me a challenge! I'd suggest parking at North West trail head if possible unless you want the added miles. Once on Tipperary trail steady climb of 1000 feet in 4 miles (or so). Trail was rocky, cross a couple creeks, loose gravel but SPECTACULAR! Descent had you on your toes for sure! Super fast in beginning with some mud and wet leaves to add to challenge. Onc on Chainsaw trail, BE ALERT! Lot of roots, rocks and tight squeezes between trees but FUN :-) trail width varies from 2-6 feet
| ThankI'm a beginner MTB but found this trail to be challenging in the beginning with a climb of 1000 feet but descent was super fun! Perfect time to ride this would have been right when leaves were changing. Will definitely ride it again!

| ThankSteady flat slow accent up roads to the tippery creek trailhead. Very nice warm up. Start with a slow steady climb on the trail which can be challenging, but doable. Start with tipperycreek (mostly all up for about 3.5-4miles. Connect to spruce creek (very fun section), down flume(fast downhill) to chainsaw, and then up a road to sunken bridges, then connect to zoom and down, which eventually leaves you out back at Elm Meadow rode, where you fly back down to Fraser. Besides the beginning on the roads, the rest is all singletrack, and one of my favorite rides in Colorado.
