Mountain Biking Harris Hill
#108 of 302 mountain bike trails in New York
Very good trail for beginners but will become boring for experienced riders. A few nice chutes that feel good in the breeze but become narrow or turn sharply at the end. You will probably come across a dog walker/hiker or two, so be alert.

In Penfield across from Wegmans is Harris Hill park. Go all the way to the top of the hill and on the side of the water tower's fence is a trail that leads into it. Very easy to find.
If you're in the area and don't want to travel far this is a great mtb spot.
Thank |This seems like a great place to take your kids, girlfriend or spouse to introduce them to the sport. Technical it's not, lengthy it's not. I'd much rather ride Ontario County, but I was looking for a new trial to try.
Thank |Great set of trails! The system consists of several trails that loop around, which is great because you really can't get lost. The trails are pretty technical, so be prepared to test your skills. Plenty of tricky switchbacks, up-and-overs, and fast, flowy sections. Watch your speed on the downhills, because one wrong move on a root or rock can send you flying (not to mention bend a rim). Ten miles at Harris Hill is quite the workout. Enjoy the ride!
Thank |Trail system has been expanded and is well-marked. Multiple loops available that can easily make your ride 10 or more miles. Relatively technical single-track with nice flowing areas, plenty of switchbacks and natural obstacles, and challenging climbs.
Thank |I'm new to single track, but these trails are a lot of fun even thought the park is rather small. Lots of hill and changes in terrain.
