Mountain Biking Viking Trail
#263 of 403 mountain bike trails in Georgia
This is just a basic paved path like the Silver Comet Trail. It connects the main campus at Berry College to the Mountain Campus. It runs along the treeline then under a power/utility line. Three miles one way (if you only ride the trail, but you can get many more miles by riding some fire road/utility roads or even some of the mtb trails back at the mountain campus). Deer are everwhere along this trail. It's very easy, only a slight grade going up to the mtn campus, you really don't notice this until you're on your way back and you notice that you're coasting a bit. This is my 5 year old's favorite because he can ride his own bike on it.

Berry College Campus, off of hwy 27 north heading out of Rome. Park in the parking lot behind the building southwest from the Circle drive thing. In the back of that parking lot is a sign that says "Viking Trail Parking". Across the street you should see the gate to the trail.
