follow the trail in the direction of chingford (map available at info centre). Dont do it if it has rained alot as it gets very muddy. More of a summer route but it is great. Just more or less find youre own route back there are plenty to choose from.

Great cross country terrain zig zagging through the forest. Best to go with someone who knows the area otherwise hard to find the singletracks.
Thank |If you're in london on a saturday morning you can ride with a friendly group who meet at 11am at the car park next to chingford golf club. There is a medium paced and fast paced group that leave the car park. They ride for 2-5 hours around the forest. You can check out the google group if you enter mbr over 35.
The forest is good biking but not particularly challenging but it's right on our doorstep and is easy access (nearest train station is Chingford 500m away). Some small climbs and downhills to keep you on your toes, and lots of roots and logs to hop over. Gets very muddy in the winter and rock hard in the summer.
