single track.. well over all this is a good trail system one of the best marked trail systems i have ever ridden. there are even maps at the ranger station. if you park of at one of the small side streets you do not have to pay to park either. it is a good ride but be sure to get a map and ride the loop up heart attack. then down the log run.

From I-5: Exit at the 320th St.exit (exit #143). Take 320th St. west approximately four miles. When 320th St. ends at a T-intersection, make a right onto 47th St. When 47th St. ends at a T-intersection, turn left onto Hwy. 509/ Dash Point Rd. Drive about two miles to the park. (West side of street is the campground side, and east side is the day-use area.) Trail entrances are located throughout the camping loops. Good BMX track at back!!

Pretty great cross country style track. Doable on an all road bike. Recommended if you're in the area.

Once I found the actual trails I had a fun time. The whole network is rather short so if you're looking for mileage this is not the place to go but is a fun stop if you're exploring new trails and want some fun.

Great sustainable trail for the area. The lack of signage and the web of trails made for a lot of back tracking and just being plain lost.

A little difficult for a beginner rider. Maybe I started at the wrong spot but a lot of climbing and having to get off my bike to walk up several sets of log stairs. Fun when you finally get the chance to cruise down the trails though. I will definitely go back.

Great trail system. Watch out for hikers!!! A little tough to navigate at first but fun loops on the side opposite the beach.

Short system of trails but good options. I rode the upper section of the park which had a decent climb that turned into a good set of flowing trails. Like I said the trail system is short so you will need to loop it several times to get a good workout.

The trails here are not very technical but there are some good ups and downs. It is a nice place to get in a quick ride if you live close by. I imagine it gets pretty muddy when it rains because there was already some mud across the trail even though it hasn't rained in a long time.

Well maintained trail with few surprises. There's enough elevation change and technical bits to get a pleasant rush, but look elsewhere if you are a veteran who requires a genuine challenge. Don't let the modest square footage of the park fool you, there's now roughly 11 miles of great single track. I agree with jhanson22: grab a map from Phil's Bike Shop before your first visit.* Review edited 8/31/2012

For the best ride head to Phil's South Sound Cyclery (about one mile away) to get a real riding trail map - free. It is the only way to navigate and get to the technical trails imba trails etc. There are over 8 miles of single track MTB trails but you've gotta know how to find them using the map and staying on the upper boundary. If you hit the stairs, you've gone towards the beach which isn't choice riding territory. Again, The best trails are on the upper region. Also, don't trust all the signs accept the ones posted in the trees. Vandals have been known to lift the ground trail direction markers. The ones posted in the trees seem to be more accurate in conjunction with the map. If you hit all the 8 miles of trails its about a 2 hour ride.

Nice trail. Bring the kids and have fun. Beach is within walking distance and lots of room to camp.* Review edited 9/14/2007

Very nice single track beware of hikers. Jump any off shoot trail from the campgrouns but watch out for the stairs. Muddy in parts in winter.
