Starting from downtown Mannheim, get on the 38 towards Viernheim/Kafertal. Get off at the Walmart exit, and take the overpass towards the "BFV" US Army facilities . Go through the traffic circle and make a right, then another right. Head past the back of the Army post, and keep going into the woods. Park near the waterworks, and head straight from there, around a gate, and take a right on a singletrack marked with white cloth tape. There is a large clearing at the end of this after crossing several main trails, and to the right is the technical stuff.
