Mountain Biking Naylor Mill Park

****   Add a review
#28 of 99 mountain bike trails in Maryland
#2,206 in the world

AT least 7 miles (but always growing) of twisting, winding singletrack. Relatively flat but the trails are made as technical as possible by the locals. The system ultilizes one ridge for as much climbing/descending and off-camber as is possible. They keep adding more and more fun trail systems. Really fun place to ride. Hands down best place to ride on the eastern shore of Maryland. Great for beginners (every technical section has a beginner option so beginners don't have to walk the course.) For more information about these trails please contact SU Cycling Club or either of the local shops, BikeSport or Salisbury Cycles.

Great trails, something for everyone. Some technical stuff, great features, some flowy areas. My wife is brand new and really liked it, was able to bypass everything to hard for her while challenging me. Great place.

I brought my bike from the Midwest and after tiring riding the beach in Ocean City, the LBS recommended checking this trail out. The trail is mostly flat with quick rooty climbs and although the trail isn't very technical, it was fun enough that I made the trip on back-to-back days. On the second day, a volunteer was blowing pine needles and leaves off the trail which made the ride so much better. Highly recommended.

In town for work and brought my bike, I checked these out. they were a bit overgrown, and had enough down trees to be annoying. some of the man made things were deteriorating and could be replaced as well. If they took care of all of this I would say is would get another star and be considered beginner to intermediate.

this is a great find, enjoy the single track and the man made ramps. No major climbs and good for all levels!

This place will always put a smile on your face, so much fun for this area of lame rides. Good fun when you don't feel like driving 2hrs to ride

this trail seems to be the best in area , it is fun and whoever is maintaining/building park is doing a great job for where it is. rode for couple hours after work and i will be back, if you live on eastern shore this will be as good as it gets and it truly is alot of fun

Nice trails. However, like other reviewers have said the trail deign is rather confusing. Didn't have a chance to ride all of it unfortunately.

We drove an hour and a half based on the reviews of this trail, and its ability level. After riding these trails we quickly decided that this is nice if its all you have, but not worth driving any distance to. The network of trails is so haphazard its easy to get on the wrong trail and end back where you started within five minutes.
A shorter, well thought out trail would be much better than cramming as much singletrack into a tiny park as you possibly could.

For the Salisbury area this is the best trail system I have riden so far. Suprisingly there is some ascents and descents in an otherwise extremly flat area. Sandy spots keep you alert and the trail is always twisting. There are many different forks which make for an intreresting ride. It is definitly not a intermediate, it is a beginners trail.

First of all, this trail is a beginner trail although listed as advanced. It is a great place to ride. My 8 year old daughter loves it. There are a few good jumps but it's mostly flat...I don't think there are any downhill sections or climbs longer than 75 yards or so. It handles rain well...get's slow but you can still ride it. All singletrack...great place to learn to ride, get back in shape or keep your skills in tune for the next trip to Patapsco or Gambrills. The trails are maintained by someone- would like to know who...I would help out. There are jumps, log piles, bridges, balance sections and off cambers.. great work by those who labored to build! Hats off to you and thanks!

fun and excellent ride - not necessarily a cardio work out, but plenty of fun technical features and a great place to go to hone your skillz. watch out for surprises in the bushes and be sure to explore all the trails - you can't possibly get lost. the sand among the trees was as interesting feature

This is an awesome trail that is not well known. It has very challenging parts as well as easier long distance sections. Love it!
