Mountain Biking Lake Alpine Loop

*****   Add a review
#143 of 1,004 mountain bike trails in California
#2,119 in the world

7,000 to 8,000 feet. Thin air is always rough the first trip of the year. views are just great. Pick some trails and link them up. We do Lake Alpine loop first every year.

Going around the lake is lame. Look for a trail crossing Hwy 207 1 mile before lake Alpine. It starts on top of Mt. Reba and ends up in town. Very technical singletrack with drops and granite. Best ride in town and very convenient fast shuttle. Ask locals for details. We dont bogart are trails.

Thin Air, a beautiful scenic singletrack trail. Not to difficult. You may have to wade across the river to get to the other side of the trail.
