Ride your bike along the paved road for 3 miles. you will pass a white gate at mile 2.5. When you get three miles out, look for the stone trailhead, take a left. The trail is technical, with switchbacks, and contains many old railway ties that have 1.5 to 2 foot drops. The stay left when you get to the bottom. THe trail will drop you into the paved road about a mile from the start.

Getting there
Take lake all the way to the end. Turn left at the top, and continue until you see a flashing yellow light. Take the road to the right. Go up the paved road to the fire gate. This is the begining of the trail.
