Mountain Biking The Berms
#182 of 289 mountain bike trails in Florida
Located on top of the berms (highway sound barriers) in Cape Coral. The majority of them are about 8-12 feet high with patches of grass, sugar sand, mulch and trees. This is the perfect place to train for sprints up short inclines, for practicing riding on sandy ridges and just overall cardio. Nothing too technical unless you want to get real imaginative as you ride.

Cape Coral, FL
Not really a MTB trail, just a curving superwide
Thank |Easy afternoon and/or evening cruise. Also good for family riding.
Thank |This is NOT a off-road MBT. This is an all paved road or an oversized sidewalk. Which is rare in Cape Coral. Sidewalks in general!
Thank |A paved trail and a berm do not a MTB trail make.
Thank |This trail is a combination of mountain bike and street bike. Good for working out, enjoying the view, and training.
Thank |We got some rain and it helped to really pack down the sugar sand.
Thank |I've ridden here more times in the past year than I can count. It is awesome cross country mountain biking training and keeps me sharp for other harder trails. The condition of the trail pretty much stays the same all year long. This is less than a five minute bike ride from my house and I love it.
