Mountain Biking Lake Cammack
#203 of 549 mountain bike trails in North Carolina
***NOT maintained and NOT traceable!!*** (July 2022).
This is a very tight, twisting and highly aerobic trail. Many log crossings, rooty climbs and several added rock drops, bridges, and drop ins. It is brand new and still soft due to not ridden in yet. This trail also drains very rapidly so if it rains in the morning, you can ride in the afternoon.

Hwy 62 north leaving burlington city limits for about 5 miles to Crossroads at the 5 points Shell stoplight and make a left on to Altamahaw Union Ridge road. Follow this for about 5 miles till you come to Lake Cammack marina. Turn left into the marina and follow the road to the parking lot. There will be a guard house with a map and trail direction to follow. You will need to sign a waiver and then follow the access road behind the building for about .8 mile to the trail head. You will cross the singletrack trail 2 times on your way to the entrance so stay on the access road until it completely ends.
