Mountain Biking UNCW Campus Trails
#189 of 549 mountain bike trails in North Carolina
Other than sandy single track, there are log crossings, fire trails with lots of switchbacks and some good rooty conditions to keep you on your toes. Worth riding if you are on the coast. You can get about 10 miles in with very little repeated trail. Most of it can be ridden fast. There isn't any hassle with riding this trail at any time.

"Take I-40 East and run it until it ends.(2750 miles from Barstow, CA!) It will eventually turn in to Hwy 17 South in Wilmington, NC. Look for signs for Hwy 132 South or UNCW campus signs. This will be a left turn at a stoplight on 17 South. After you take this exit, you will be on 132 South. Make a left on Randall Pkwy off of 132 South (2 stoplights). This will put you on campus. Keep going until you go through one stoplight and see the water tower on the right. Go through the stoplight and make a right into the parking lot for Friday Hall. The trail head will be in the far right hand corner.
