Mountain Biking Windridge Horse Park
#302 of 403 mountain bike trails in Georgia
Tight singletrack with many switch-backs. Not many climbs. Fast downhills. Many drop-offs on parts but you can also just ride down them. The trail cicles around a large lake. My friend and I went there and we loved the speed and design of the trail. Try it if you live anywhere near Atlanta.

"Go I-85 south to Exit-9. Take a right first when you get off 85. Continue to the second road on the right that says Bypass 34. Go on the first left to go under the bridge. Continue 5 to 6 miles until Bypass 34 splits off into an East and West direction and take the East route which is on the left. Continue on this road until it turns into Martin Girl Road (before this it will change from East Bypass 34 to Handy Road and then it will turn into Martin Girl road). After the road turns to Martin Girl Road continue straight and take the first road on the right. This will change into a gravel road. Turn in the first mail-box on the left (it will have a sign that says Windridge Horse Park and it has a picture of a horse on it). This is it. Go on until you see the house and there will be parking on the left. There is a trail matinence fee of three dollars but it is worth it. Pay up at the house. It is private property so you will have to sign a wavier. Also, it is only open on the weekends except to members.
