"Take I-75 to Chastain Road (Exit 117). Turn left and follow all the way to Hwy. 41 (just past airport). Turn right on 41. Go north for about fifteen miles until you see a Emerson city sign. After you see that sign continue north until you cross a bridge over train tracks. Pull off to the right of the road immediately after the bridge.

| ThankI found the location from the directions off 41, but I'm not sure what's private property. there're trails all over the power line cuts to be sure.
| ThankThis trail is a really good ride for advanced mt bike riders that like a challenge. Almost all of the trail is in the woods. The terrain is ever changing from super steep climbs to short bombing down hills. This trail is best if ridden from allatoona pass toward red top exit and back. It is a loop not an out and back. Vier off the power lines into the woode and through a concrete tunnel that goes under hwy75 then work your way to red top exit. Once at the exit go behind the gas station and follow the jeep trail about 400 yards to the single/double track trail that will take you all the way back to allatoona pass in the woods. Bike odometer read 17 1/2 miles both times. Just rode trail 2 weeks ago
| ThankIt does exist and is truly incredible! I found via the trail system at Allatoona Pass Park (go to red top mtn state park web site). Access via Emerson/allatoona exit 283 north on I-75. Also go to google earth to figure out route....about 5.5 one way from Allatoona Pass parking to Red Top Mtn Road...which is at Exit 285 at I-75. You will eventually come out on old construction dirt road behind Texaco Station at this exit no 285. Trail initally follows RR, then powerlines then into forest on old 4WD trail through deep woods bellow high$ Waterside housing development. It is worth the effort to find and ride...but dont go it alone as I did...was a great ride that stretched me and the old Blur LT. had to walk some...
