****   Add a review
#6 of 403 mountain bike trails in Georgia
#63 in the world

Chicopee Woods Mountain Bike Park offers 21 miles of prime cross country singletrack. It is managed by volunteers from Northeast Georgia SORBA. There is a 2.6 mile beginner friendly trail named The Tortoise Loop. Four intermediate level trails totaling 14 miles include the Red Tail loop, Flying Squirrel, White Tail loop and Coyote trail. Copperhead is a 4.5 mile trail. It is the most difficult trail in the system. Trail maps are posted at the main trailhead kiosk in the parking lot as well as at major intersections along the trail system. The trails close at sunset and after significant rain. For more information and current trail status visit www.negasorba.org Night riding during the winter months is allowed only during posted Northeast Georgia SORBA group rides. Please consider leaving a donation in the box at the trailhead kiosk to help fund maintenance here. There is a $5/day or $50 annual parking fee.  Northeast Georgia SORBA does not receive any money from the Parking Fee so your donations are important.

Rider questions

Q: I have an all-terrain bike, would that work on the trail?
A: If you aren't certain, stick to Tortoise and Village trails. You could ride those on a cyclecross bike.

Q: Are e-bikes allowed
A: There are no signs asking riders not to use eBikes, however, there is talk that those who make the rules could allow e-bikes in the future.
