From the parking lot take the paved trail on the west side of the Bayou south till you cross the bayou on the foot bridge. Follow the paved trail left until you come to Eldridge. Take the dirt trail under the bridge and follow the singletrack along the bayou. This trail runs up and down the banks of the bayou and has some short climbs and downhills but mostly flat trails. There are upper and lower trails with the upper trails being more difficult. This is a good place to ride and could be even closer to ten miles in and out. You can rid all the way to Wilcrest and there is a bowl on the other side if you want to do some jumps. You can cross the bridge at Wilcrest and ride the paved trail back or reverse course and take the singletrack back. Follow the arrows on your way in thanks to the trail trolls. Good place to get mileage in and get your heartrate up and there is always someone to ride with. For more info checkout the texas rides at www.mtnbikerider.com
