Mountain Biking Bonita Lakes
#12 of 37 mountain bike trails in Mississippi
Nice singletrack trail, some rolling hill type sections, some steep climbs or descents depending on which way your choosing to go...also a doubletrack/dirt road(which I did not include in the mileage) that circles the entire lake that can be ridden by anyone with a little fitness under their belt....trails kept in good condition.....MS state games race held here once a year.... I would say currently, this is one of the top trails in MS.

Heading east on I20/59 from Jackson, enter Meridian, take exit 154A onto HWY 19 and head "east" down HWY 19 past the mall exit on your right. Bonita Lakes is the next exit on your right. Drive to the back of Bonita over the levee and park next to the boat ramps. The double track trail heads into the woods there. The singletrack trail starts just into the doubletrack on your left.
