Mountain Biking Dial Range MTB Trails

*****   Add a review
#4 of 34 mountain bike trails in Tasmania
#3,653 in the world

The Dial Range Trails consist of the green rated Montgomery Loop, that is a great flowy XC style trail and about 6k long loop. From about three quarters way around the Montgomery Loop you can jump onto the Iron Tor trail that is just over 6km in length itself and returns you back to the Montgomery Loop. Iron Tor is a solid 3km climb with great views out to the east before returning you via a thrilling and technical descent. The last MTB specific trail in the Dial Range is Ironcliffe Ridge. This is a dual direction trail that comes off the highest part of Iron Tor and takes you to the summit of Mt Dial. It has some spectacular viewpoints that look out to the west, high up over the surrounding bush and farmland.
