Since discovering Folsom Bike, I've become a convert. Walk in the door and you see a well-stocked, organized shop. A staff member greets you with a smile and asks how he/she can help. Most of the staff are enthusiastic riders and several race, so answers to your questions are based on product knowledge plus experience. If an item, size or color you want isn't in stock, Folsom Bike will order it and call you when it arrives. Bike repairs and tuning are taken while you wait, if possible; I usually head for their coffee shop, with its tables and coffee bar, and read a cycling magazine or get some computer work done.
Hands down the best Bike Shop in the Sacramento area. Service is great, knowledgable, friendly, always put the customer first. Good bike selection between this shop and their shop in El Dorado Hills (Town Center Bike & Tri). They also do a number of rides, sponsor teams, and do a great job putting on the South Canal Time Trials every other Wed night.
