I purchased my first entry level hardtail here (~$400) which was advertised to come with a free, full tuneup within a certain time frame after purchase. I ended up laying the bike down and mucking my rear derailleur in the first few weeks. I took it back to the shop and the mechanic bent the hanger back into place with a set of pliers and cycled it up and down the cassette 2 or 3 times and called it good. I ended up purchasing a replacement derailleur, hanger, and learned how to install and calibrate it myself.
Dover Cyclery is the best. They go above and beyond and are incredibly helpful. Support local and check them out!
