#61 out of 518 29er bikes
Brand: Charge
This Charge Cooker 29er mountain bike was specifically made for us at Performance Bicycles and features handpicked components to maximize performance on the mountain. The Cooker features a comfortable yet aggressive geometry that will please everyone from seasoned riders to beginners. The Cooker rocks a lightweight and durable 6061 Series butted aluminum frame with a tapered head tube that is rigid enough to withstand any trail, and the RockShox 30 GOLD TK fork assists by offering 100 mm of travel in the front to give you confidence during descent and features Solo Air technology that allows you to fill both the positive and negative air spring chambers of the suspension through a single Schrader valve, making fork adjustments a cinch. The fork can also be locked out to be more efficient on the streets downtown.

The Cooker's drivetrain also consists of handpicked Shimano components, including Shimano SLX shifters to filter through the 20 gearing options. A Shimano SLX front derailleur and Shimano XT Shadow Plus rear derailleur promote responsive shifting by sucking up slack and preserve the pivots for greater durability over the long-term. The Shimano SLX hydraulic disc brake system is reliable in all weather conditions, provides control in the corners, and excellent stopping power when obstacles get a little too close for comfort. Of course, no 29er would be complete without some burly rims and tires. The WTB SX19 double-walled rims are light and durable, and the Maxxis Ikon 60 TPI high-volume, lightweight racing tires have a versatile cross country tread. Charge employs some of its own static components, including the Charge Spoon saddle and Charge Griddle lock-on grips so you never lose your grip. Made by us at Performance just for you, the 2015 Charge Cooker 29er mountain bike is ready to dominate the cross country trails in your area.
