From downtown Courtenay, start driving north on Highway 19A. Once you get to the highway's intersection with Ryan Road, turn right at the corner with the Tim Hortons. Then, continue on Ryan Road until you come to Anderton Road, and turn left on Anderton Road. As Anderton Road bends to the right and becomes Ellenor Road, find where Anderton Road turns left off of the main road and follow it. Eventually, Anderton Road will turn into Waveland Road, but follow Waveland Road until Bates Road appears. Turn left onto Bates Road, and the parking lot for Seal Bay Park will soon come up on the right.
