Okay. You got yourself a fat bike. Good. Now you’ve been thrashing around all winter long and the tires are bald as a lizard’s butt. What next?
Well, Panaracer would certainly appreciate it if you gave their new Fat B Nimble tire a look, and they’re making the tires extra-attractive to buyers by keeping cost and weight low.
As you know, keeping weight and cost low is a tall order in the bike industry, so I think we can safely assume that Panaracer has employed a wizard, and that that wizard has also been trained as a ninja.
Here’s what they have to say about their new tire:
Panaracer, with the Fat B Nimble range, has created a hard-wearing four-seasons tire that can work on any bike given the “fat” label. Coming in at $79.99 retail for the 120tpi aramid bead 27.5” and 29” sizes, and $89.99 for the truly-fat 26 x 4” version, the Fat B Nimble is finally bringing affordable rubber to the riders who are using oversize tires in winter, and year round.
The “affordable” and “year-round” parts sound directly up my alley. I’m cheap, and I don’t want to be changing tires around for each season. In fact, I don’t want to change tires ever. I’m mad they wear out at all. But apparently that can’t be helped. Damn you, entropy!
Remember, tires are basically Crocs for your bike. Would you deny someone their pair of Crocs? Hell no you wouldn’t, because you’re not a monster.
Except on the trails, that is, right? Huh? Right, monster? You monster!
