Premium wheel maker Atomik Carbon introduced a line of wheels last week and they use recyclable FusionFiber carbon fiber, as Revel and some other brands have been using for their wheels. New Ergon grips are lightweight, vibration damping, made in Germany
The new Ergon GXR friction grips are made from AirCell rubber which is said to make them lightweight (90g for the pair, including end caps) and comfortable. Part of that weight savings also comes thanks to the lack of a lock ring on either end. This is the brand’s first grip made entirely in Germany.
- Price: $24.95
- Available soon.
Marin Bedroll bar adds real estate, higher hands
Marin recently started selling branded components including this riser handlebar that’s geared toward bikepacking. Not only does the 50mm rise get hands higher for improved comfort, it also opens a ton of real estate for stuff like a bedroll, light, GPS… and bear spray holster. (No shade to the bear in the Marin logo.)
- Price: $60
- Available from Marin.
Nukeproof Scout gravity hardtail update
